AAM Infrastructure
Financing Roundtable
Bringing industry and government together to advance the financing of America’s Advanced Air Mobility infrastructure.
The Purpose
Financing the Infrastructure
That Makes AAM Possible
With eight teams selected for the FAA’s eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP), the next phase of Advanced Air Mobility requires investment in the systems that make operations possible: vertiports, charging, surveillance, weather, and low-altitude airspace infrastructure.
NEXA Advisors is convening a focused roundtable to explore a coordinated industry request to Congress for $16.6 billion in federal loan guarantees to support that investment, and the coalition needed to advance the proposal.
The goal is a practical path from infrastructure need to financeable projects.
Discussion Priorities
A Coordinated
Path Forward
The roundtable will focus on four questions at the intersection of infrastructure, capital, and public policy.
A detailed agenda will follow with the formal invitation. The National Infrastructure Need
The size, timing, and phasing of AAM capital investment, from ground facilities and charging to surveillance, weather, and airspace systems.
A Federal Loan-Guarantee Framework
How a program could mobilize private capital, drawing on experience from initiatives such as the NextGen Equipage Fund and ADS-B deployment.
The Role of eIPP Teams
How teams could guide infrastructure priorities, support harmonization, and contribute to the proposed administration of guarantee approvals.
An Industry Coalition and Legislative Path
A unified industry position, the coalition needed to support it, and a strategy for advancing the initiative in the 120th Congress.
The Roundtable
